| A chartered accountant, Mr. Akinola Akintunde was elected as the 11th President of the Chamber on 9th September, 2008. Within the period, Mr. Akintunde has been in office, he has categorized members into industrial groups and inaugurated the manufacturing and banking / financial service groups for effective networking. Mr. Akinola has also improved on the NBCC website to the extent that it now attracts advertisement and launched the NBCC-UK network. Mr. Akintunde has intensified courtesy visits to members and government to the extent that he was received in audience by two state governments on the same day |
The Chamber has been blessed with energetic people of vision, talents and wisdom who have directed its affairs since its inception 1977. Their efforts have earned the Chamber a steady and stable growth from about 20 founding members to over 300 members today.
